Daredevil star Charlie Cox knows he will return to the MCU after his Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo.

When it first premiered in theaters back in December, Spider-Man: No Way Home was notable for bringing audiences to uproarious cheers during certain moments. Most notably, the appearance of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire got fans quite loud in the theater. Along with the return of previous Spider-Men, the appearance of other surprise characters such as Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil (Charlie Cox) making his official big screen debut in the MCU got some fans pretty stoked.

While speaking with The Radio Times, Charlie Cox played coy about when he will officially make his next appearance in the MCU, but teased that there will be more to come for his Daredevil:

“I don’t know much, but I know there will be something else.”

While reflecting on the whole experience of seeing his return as Daredevil through his Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo, Charlie Cox revealed that his theater was surprisingly quiet during his appearance:

“It’s funny, I got so many text messages and so many calls about that moment in the cinema. My nephew sent me a recording of everyone cheering. So I snuck into a movie theater near where I live and literally stood in the corridor… and, sadly, my experience was it was dead f**king quiet! I was so disappointed. My wife was with me and she was recording me, because it’d be fun to have that moment of everyone cheering, and then… tumbleweed!”

In the meantime, Disney Plus subscribers will have the opportunity to see Charlie Cox as Daredevil in his own original series of the same name when that along with numerous other Marvel series will move from Netflix to Disney Plus in late March. Either way, Daredevil certainly has an exciting future years after the series’ cancellation, and it looks brighter than ever.

Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Charlie Cox, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, with Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Tom Hardy.
