The stars of Spider-Man: No Way Home addressed rumors of an appearance by Charlie Cox as Daredevil.

One of the countless rumors regarding Spider-Man: No Way Home was the potential return of one Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil in the film, potentially as a lawyer for Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in his case regarding the death of Quentin Blake AKA Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Spider-Man: Far From Home. With the film finally hitting theaters in the next few days, fans are curious to see if the blind lawyer will make his big screen Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

In a new video for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon got together to discuss some of the many fan theories. In particular, Jacob Batalon pulls out a note from the bowl:

Jacob Batalon: Daredevil will appear as Peter’s lawyer.

Tom Holland: Will he?

Jacob Batalon: I don’t know [flings note]

Whether or not we see Charlie Cox back as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, his return as the character as part of the new MCU canon is guaranteed. Recently, Kevin Feige officially confirmed the actor’s role as the character will be implemented into the ongoing franchise, but would not confirm when we would first see him appear. Looks like we will have to wait a few more days to find out if the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen will meet up with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming film:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx, with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield heavily rumored to appear.
