Netflix has released the first full trailer for the penultimate season of Stranger Things.

It’s been a long wait for Stranger Things season four, mainly due to the COVID pandemic, with filming halted right after it kicked off. However, production was completed last year, and Netflix recently revealed the fourth season would drop in two volumes, with the first arriving on May 27th and the second half coming on July 1st for a total of nine episodes.

Netflix has also been releasing teases for the upcoming season, which have given us a glimpse at the beloved characters’ lives after going their separate ways at the end of season three. Official stills from the upcoming season were also released by Netflix last month and showed off the characters’ new looks, but now we finally have our first full trailer. You can watch the Stranger Things 4 trailer below.

Here’s Netflix’s description for the fourth season of Stranger Things:

It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Netflix’s Stranger Things 4 stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn.

Stranger Things 4 will start on May 27th and conclude on July 1st. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming season, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
