Fans finally have a new look at The Fantastic Four: First Steps! The MCU’s First Family gets a new holiday themed drawing ahead of the reboot’s official reveal.
July 2025 is officially the reboot month for superhero franchises. A whole new DC Universe is kicking off with the release of Superman, whereas the MCU is taking their crack at one of Marvel’s most beloved super teams in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It’s a blockbuster duology for the ages, and fans have been frothing at the mouth for any look at the highly-anticipated projects.
With Superman getting its first trailer just before the holiday season, fans were hoping that the MCU would ring in the new year with their own first look at The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Sadly, things have been radio silent from Marvel, with all signs pointing to the reboot not releasing any footage until January or February of 2025.
The Fantastic Four Rings In The New Year
However, just because no footage is being released doesn’t mean that Marvel has nothing to show for their long-awaited reboot. The studio released a new piece of artwork to celebrate the holidays in the style of other promotional materials for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The art shows a blue ornament adorned with the team’s logo in the MCU, complete with the retro snowflakes and snow covered pine needles that make fans just want to curl up around a fire with a nice cup of hot cocoa.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps has put a large focus on the winter holidays with their marketing. The first look we got at the reboot was actually themed around Valentines day, and now this artwork is clearly meant to evoke feelings of the Christmas season. This could point to the film taking place somewhere around the new year in the MCU, signifying a new beginning for both the super team and the franchise at large.
