‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Set Video Teases A Civil War

The series returns in February.

The Mandalorian Katee Sackhoff Bo-Katan

A set video from The Mandalorian season three might reveal a major moment with Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan.

The season three trailer shown to those who attended the Lucasfilm and The Mandalorian panels at Star Wars Celebration this year teased a growing conflict between Bo-Katan and Din Djarin after he obtained the Darksaber. Bo-Katan has become a prominent figure in Star Wars canon in recent years, after first appearing in The Clone Wars and Rebels before making the jump to live-action in The Mandalorian season two.

News surrounding The Mandalorian season three has been quiet since Star Wars Celebration in May, but more details could be coming soon with Lucasfilm’s presentation at D23 later this week. As we wait for more official information, Bespin Bulletin has shared a set video that involves Bo-Katan facing off against fellow Mandalorians who appear to be wearing Night Owl armor.

Is A Mandalorian Civil War Brewing?

It seems season three will involve a civil war between the Mandalorians, and the new set video might be more evidence of that. Bo-Katan could either be betraying her clan in the upcoming season or snuffing out those who might still be loyal to the Empire. You can check out the set video for yourself below.

Here is the synopsis for the Star Wars series:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travels of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic….

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano ahead of her spin-off series. The project was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with episodes directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers, and Robert Rodriguez.

The Mandalorian’s first two seasons are available to stream on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming season, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
