For once, it finally seems as though Sony’s Spider-Man plans are picking up steam. With Knull bringing a multiversal threat straight to the doorsteps of Tom Hardy in Venom: The Last Dance, fans are finally convinced that Tom Holland will finally share the silver screen with his symbiote counterpart after their near miss in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
There’s plenty of evidence for this too. Reshoots for Venom: The Last Dance showed Tom Hardy in New York, across the continent from where the rest of the film takes places. A rumor is also gaining steam that Knull will be the villain in Spider-Man 4, heavily suggesting Hardy will at least make a cameo in Tom Holland’s next outing as the webhead.
Tom Hardy Weighs In On A Spider-Man Cameo
It seems not even Tom Hardy himself can effectively parry this rumor. When asked about the possibility of Tom Holland making a cameo as Spider-Man in Venom: The Last Dance, he admitted that things like that are always possible, and he’d love if the appearance could actually come to life after all these years of fans speculatng. However, since this is said to be the last movie in their trilogy, he can’t say anything.
“You know, there are always possibilities,” Hardy remarked during a recent press tour in Mexico. “I couldn’t possibly say anything because this is the last movie. Yeah, so, I would love that.”
Anyone who watches the video can tell that Tom Hardy is hiding something. Even if Tom Holland doesn’t make a cameo in Venom: The Last Dance, it’s clear this isn’t the end of the Lethal Protector. After over half a decade, it seems that he’ll finally be coming to blows with Spider-Man on the big screen. And it’s likely all thanks to Knull!
