Tom Holland teased that there may be numerous sequels coming after Spider-Man: No Way Home.

With the massive success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans are already speculating about the future of Tom Holland as Peter Parker. Given the way the film concludes the Homecoming trilogy, and the new journey that he must embark on now that the entire world forgot that he is Spider-Man, it looks like he must experience a fresh new start as the Friendly Neighborhood Webhead.

The possibilities are endless for the future of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, and although during the press tour for the film, he sounded like he was considering saying goodbye to the role, his future as Spider-Man remains intact, and quite busy to say the least. Upon the film receiving three Golden Tomatoes from Rotten Tomatoes, he expressed thanks:

“Guys, Spider-Man: No Way Home has received three Golden Tomatoes, so I just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of everyone from Sony and Marvel, the critics, the fans who have shown so much love and respect and support for our movies. It means the world and hopefully, we can do it again and again and again. But thank you, thank you, thank you. And we’ll see you soon.”

It’s not all that surprising that there are likely multiple new projects for Tom Holland to reprise his role as Peter Parker in the near future. Given that Spider-Man: No Way Home ends with him as a bit of a blank slate, the storytelling possibilities are limitless. Given that Jon Watts will likely be busy with Fantastic Four, who knows who will take over the director’s chair this time around? And who knows if this Peter Parker may need the assistance of the other two Peters for yet another adventure.

Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man No Way Home:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Marvel’s No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx, with Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Tom Hardy.
