Who Is Playing Swamp Thing In The DC Universe?
While it may seem an odd choice for Vincent D’Onofrio to take on the role of Swamp Thing, especially given the character has such a different vibe from Kingpin, it does line up with some of his more muted performances. The DC Universe is also gearing up to cast the character sometime soon. While James Mangold first has to tackle his Star Wars project, his next film on the docket is his gothic-horror take on Swamp Thing.
Early speculation suggested that Bill Skarsgård might be taking up the mantle of Swamp Thing in the DC Universe. However, given the movie is barely even in development at this point, it’s not likely that the big wigs at the studio are looking to cast the role anytime soon. This leaves Vincent D’Onofrio plenty of time to wrap his tenure up at Marvel Studios before taking on a whole new role with Warner Bros. Discovery!
