Avengers star Jeremy Renner is requesting reduced child support payments due to the coronavirus’s impact on his income.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating effect on the global economy and many have found themselves out of work as businesses across the close to slow the spread of the virus. It appears Jeremy Renner is among the many who has had their income impacted by the pandemic and now the Avengers star is requesting reduced child support payments as a result.

TMZ has obtained documents there were filed by Jeremy Renner on Monday in which the Avengers star asks a judge to reduce to amount of child support he pays to ex-wife, Sonny Pacheco. According to the outlet, Jeremy Renner says he knew his income would be down for the year because he completed work on Marvel Studios’ Avengers films, but the coronavirus pandemic has affected the work he had line-up and “it is likely that most productions will not resume again prior to the end of the year. As such, the projects that I had previously lined up to film this year are likely canceled or postponed.”

The outlet notes that Jeremy Renner currently pays $30k each month to his ex-wife for the care of their daughter Ava. While the Avengers star does not specify how much he wants his payments to be reduced by, he reportedly says his daughter’s “reasonable needs” amount to roughly $11k per month.
