Jeremy Renner’s Ex-Wife Claims ‘Avengers’ Star Threatened To Kill Her & Himself

Jeremy Renner’s ex-wife Sonni Pacheco claims that the Avengers star threatened to kill her and himself with a gun.

Avengers star Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco are currently locked in an extreme custody battle for their daughter Ava and now the latter has filed legal documents claiming that during a drug-fueled disagreement the star talked about killing her before putting a gun in his mouth and threatening to kill himself. Jeremy Renner also supposedly fired a shot into the ceiling while his daughter slept in another room. The claim come from Sonni Pacheco’s request to change the joint custody agreement to sole custody, citing the threats and the actor’s substance abuse as reasons for the adjustment.

The documents obtained by TMZ also state that Ava’s nanny overheard Avengers star Jeremy Renner saying that “it was better that Ava had no parents than to have [Sonni] as a mother.” Sonni Pacheco also accused the 48-year-old Avengers actor of threatening to kill her last November, telling someone “he just wanted her gone.” The documents additionally claim that Jeremy Renner left cocaine in a bathroom within reach of his daughter. When TMZ asked Jeremy Renner’s representatives for comments on the accusations, they said the following:

“The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy. This is a matter for the court to decide. It’s important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni’s declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind.”

It’s a troubling situation regardless of what’s true and what isn’t. What do you make of the accusations against the Avengers star? Do you believe that Jeremy Renner could do such a thing? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
