With the actor set to return for the new DC Universe, and likely having a story closely tied to Booster Gold, TheCosmicCircus decided to probe him about the casting process. According to their report, Maridueña confirmed that Kumail Nanjiani had in fact been cast as the Chono-Waverider himself.
Ever since word got around that Kumail Nanjiani might have been playing Booster Gold in the DC Universe, fans have fallen in love with the idea. And if Xolo Maridueña knows that the actor has been cast, it’s possible he’ll make his return to the world of capes and spandex sooner rather than later, especially with the Blue Beetle animated series so early in prodction.
