Deadpool 3 pre-production is underway with the Avengers: Endgame art director serving as the production designer.

Although a specific release date has yet to be announced, the long-awaited Deadpool 3 is in development, with Ryan Reynolds returning to reprise his role as the Merc with a Mouth, and Free Guy director Shawn Levy to helm the film. Now, it looks like pre-production is underway, with Avengers: Endgame art director Raymond Chan serving as the production designer.

Discussing Film reported that the Avengers: Endgame art director has joined Deadpool 3. Beyond the second highest-grossing film of all-time, Raymond Chan has also worked in previous MCU films including Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and Avengers: Infinity War.

Deadpool finally joins the MCU.

With Deadpool 3 under Marvel Studios, Ryan Reynolds will finally make his debut in the MCU. And now that Raymond Chan will serve as the production designer, it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see if anything related to the Avengers is implemented into the story of the film. After all, it is likely that Wade Wilson would want to interact with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in some way, and we will likely see more of that fourth wall-breaking action that he is known for now implemented into the ongoing canon of this universe.
