A new TV spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teases the next team-up between two Avengers.

With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel Studios is continuing the trend of having mini Avengers team-ups that we’ve seen in other solo films like Thor: Ragnarok and Spider-Man: No Way Home. The upcoming sequel will notably include Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch from the Avengers squad following the events of WandaVision.

Since Multiverse of Madness is inching closer to its release date, Marvel Studios has dropped another TV spot, which features some new footage. The big focus for the spot is on the Avengers team-up between Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch, two characters who haven’t interacted too much in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. You can watch the new TV spot below.

It appears the marketing for the upcoming film is pulling a lot of footage from the same sequences, seemingly to hide major plot points. Some major rumors include Scarlet Witch being the big bad of the film and the appearance of some familiar Avengers from other universes.

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming film:

The MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

Directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Michael Waldron, the Marvel movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stuhlbarg, Rachel McAdams, and Patrick Stewart.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theaters on May 6, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the Avengers in the upcoming Marvel film, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
