Set photos from WandaVision show off Elizabeth Olsen in a surprising new costume alongside Paul Bettany and the rest of the cast for the Disney Plus series.

While fans are still hoping that WandaVision will arrive on Disney Plus sooner rather than later, new photos from the set of the TV series show Elizabeth Olsen with a surprising new look as Wanda Maximoff. Since WandaVision will toy with different versions of reality thanks to the return of Paul Bettany’s Vision, it wouldn’t be surprising if this new costume only makes a brief appearance instead of replacing the hero’s typical outfit.

The new set photos come from a Brazilian fansite dedicated to Elizabeth Olsen, and show the actress wearing a sparkling red bodysuit with fishnets alongside a short hairdo. Fans will immediately spot that the suit and fishnets combination looks similar to Scarlet Witch’s original costume in the comics. After some of the first footage from Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision gave the hero her caped look (alongside the iconic tiara) it’s clear the actress will have a number of outfits to show off when the show eventually arrives on the streaming service. A series of other images also showed the rest of the cast in radically different costumes, with one shot showing Paul Bettany in a sharp dress shirt. This most likely points to some kind of flashback dream sequence. Take a look at the new images below.

What do you make of the new costumes? Are you excited to see Paul Bettany return in Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for WandaVision:

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said that the series will lead into the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision is set to premiere on Disney Plus in 2020. Stay tuned for all the latest news on WandaVision and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content.
