Ahsoka star Rosario Dawson was surprised by the scenes she shared with Luke Skywalker in The Book of Boba Fett.
Lucasfilm’s newest Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett received a mixed reception from fans, with some expressing more significant interest in the two episodes that don’t even center on the titular character, but rather in Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian. In particular, Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger was noteworthy for the return of Luke Skywalker, Grogu, and Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson).
The image of seeing Anakin Skywalker’s former apprentice Ahsoka Tano interacting with Luke Skywalker was surreal for Star Wars fans. In particular, seeing her interact with the son of her fallen Jedi Master is a certain type of fan service that just tickles every hardcore fan of The Clone Wars. The scene was so surreal, particularly for Rosario Dawson, who revealed that she was surprised that she would be filming with Luke Skywalker on that exact day:
Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill also tweeted to Rosario Dawson, expressing gratitude to work with Ahsoka Tano herself:
Following her appearance on The Book of Boba Fett Rosario Dawson is expected to reprise her role as Ahsoka Tano in her own series simply titled, Ahsoka. In regards to the future of Luke Skywalker in this series, his status remains unknown given that his prospective student Grogu opted to return to The Mandalorian instead of staying with his Jedi master to train in the ways of the Force.
