Fans aren’t the only ones excited by the Marvel cameos in Deadpool and Wolverine! Dopinder actor Karan Soni teases even more surprises in store for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Deadpool and Wolverine has quickly made its way to becoming one of the most hyped Marvel projects since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. The film is filled to the brim with giving fans what they want, including officially bringing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine into the MCU. However, it seems that may not be the only fanservice fans get, with Dopinder actor Karan Soni teasing that a lot of people found their way onto the set during production.

“This new MCU version is ultra-secretive,” The actor explained during a recent interview with Variety. “There are a lot of surprises. Let’s just say a lot of people traveled to London.”

Ever since Deadpool and Wolverine began filming last year rumors have been abound of what sorts of cameos could be finding their way into the movie. While only a few have been officially confirmed, such as Aaron Stanford’s Pyro making appearance in the trailer for the upcoming MCU film, dozens more have been teased such as Jennifer Garner as Elektra and Sir Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier.

One name surprisingly absent from discourse about potential Deadpool and Wolverine cameos actually relates to Karan Soni himself. While Dopinder is confirmed to be crossing over into the MCU with this film, that’s not the only Marvel character the actor has defined for fans in recent years. The actor recently had a breakout role as Spider-Man India in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. While Soni may not be putting on a pair of colorful tights for the film, it would be a shock if the character isn’t even mentioned.

This doesn’t even mention the potential for variants. Set photos have already confirmed the appearance of multiversal versions of characters in Deadpool and Wolverine (not to mention the appearance of the adorable Dogpool!). With such a wide pool of jokes to be able to choose from, it wouldn’t be shocking for fans to get a few blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameos from their favorite stars, similar to Alan Tudyk’s foray into the Marvel universe with Deadpool 2.

Deadpool and Wolverine is currently expected to be released on July 26, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
